Located in Hervey Bay, our Pet Crematorium has an open-door policy. Families or vet staff are welcome to visit our premises any time during office hours. It was constructed to the same standards as a human funeral home. We also have a viewing room, for those who would like to say one last goodbye.

Families can choose from a wide variety of urns or other keepsakes, most of which are fully customisable to suit your needs. They often tell us how much they loved having their pet’s ashes returned home to the family that loved and cared for them. It can help complete the letting go process and is a great comfort to both adults and children alike. Being able to provide such support is at the heart of Forever Ours Pet Crematorium .

Our phones are answered twenty four hours a day. We can transfer your loved one from where death has occurred. All you need to do is contact us at Forever Ours Pet Crematorium, we will take care of everything for our families.

Kelly and Darren have worked hard to build-up an effective pet crematorium that is extremely family focused. They always put the needs of their pet parents first with genuine understanding and empathy which comes from having fur babies of their own (as well as grown up human babies, too). Kelly and Darren’s little dogs are dearly loved, and they fully understand the pain of losing a precious fur baby.

Kelly began working for Pets in Peace Loganholme in February 2008. With an urge to learn more Kelly would work extra hours at no charge to gain this knowledge. First, she started with ashes preparation and engraving plaques and then worked up to be a road staff member. Kelly also learnt how to cremate during her time with Pets in Peace. Helping families, crying with families and always lending an ear or her shoulder to cry on, has forged life-long friendships with some of the families she has met along the way.

Darren and Kelly set up the crematorium premises in Hervey Bay from nothing, installing the first pet crematorium on the Fraser Coast. Over time the business grew and developed from a partnership to being owned by Kelly and Darren. Now they have 3 staff members and cover Gympie to Bundaberg and all surrounding areas.

On a personal note, they have three wonderful children and two amazing granddaughters, and two little dogs and a cat. When Kelly has time off, which is not often, she enjoys pottering around her home and learning how to cricut. Darren loves the outdoors, camping, fishing, 4wding but most of all a proud North Queensland Cowboys supporter. But overall, their main focus is their pet parents and ensuring that their beloved pets are helped on their final journey with dignity, love and caring.

Our Crematorium

Our purpose built pet crematorium is at Unit 1/ 16-18 Driftwood Court, Urangan. Situated near the airport in Hervey Bay. All council and government regulations have been met and our license to operate a pet crematorium was granted on the 16th August 2013. We have designed our premises using the same principal that you will find in most human funeral homes in Australia.

We have full mortuary facilities and our cremator is designed at two thirds of the size of a human cremator to allow our staff to conduct all cremations with dignity.

We are very proud of our crematorium and welcome families to visit our premises at anytime during business hours. Prior arrangement is to be made please so we have a friendly staff member available to assist you. All of our memorial urns and plaques are on display.

Pet Crematorium & Vehicles

Forever Ours have a fleet of vehicles available exclusively for the transfer and returns of pets. Our attention to detail within these vehicles is yet another aspect of the business we pride ourselves on, with each vehicle well maintained and clean. We also have an unmarked vehicle for those who choose discreteness, for return of ashes only.

Please be advised the online portal is not attended to on evenings or weekends. You will need to contact the office during these times.
